Exhaustion began to creep in on her mind and she becomes more aggravated by the moment. , , hell she didn't even bother trying to ask for assistance as she knew it'd be another dead end.[break][break]

Her mother's voice rung in her mind as she entered the Mechanical kingdom's rift. " Dear, if you want something done to your standards, do it yourself." [break][break]

Disgusting, she never thought she'd agree with her monster of a mother @madeleine but she did for once. A text message had been sent to asking for the woman to meet her here. She was sure they wouldn't be followed, their phones held no signal so no one could be hacking her phone plus Melody held a natural advantage here with her book. [break][break]

Now she was just missing her dance partner.

annalise has never been to mechanical kingdom, but she's been through enough rifts to dull her apprehension about them. her only concern is how she's going to find melody once she's passed through into unfamiliar territory but, hopefully, she'll stay nearby the rift for an easier meetup. [break][break]she steps through the rift, immediately awed by the industrialized world that unfurls in front of her. compared to the desolation ultra plant and ultra desert, this world almost feels like a real civilization — though she doesn't think she wants to run into anyone who lives here. [break][break]her eyes lower, sweeping the surrounding area. a shock of pink sparks recognition in her expression. the tension in her posture eases as she approaches the idol. She turns around, her signature pink ponytail swishes behind her as her sync stone thrums at the same rhythmn as Annalise. [break][break]

"Hey! Thank you for coming, I know it's a weird spot for a meet up." She says as Annalise would be able to spot countless gears moving in harmony around one another, steam erupting from pipes in the walls as a pressure release. It was as if the city was alive yet not a single sign of organic life remained. At least not near the entrance, and in the distance if annalise looked closer she could see signs of decay, cancer growing in the form of rust and wear and tear. Broken machinery. [break][break]

A castle looms in the distance and Melody looks towards it. "It is isn't it? A place like this used to be my dream as a kid, a world run by music. Music that controls the world here." [break][break]

She decides to give annalise an example of what music here could do, melody looks at a nearby magearna that had fallen in to dissaray. "Watch this." she says as Melody clears her throat and begins to sing a song of restoration. As she sings nothing happens at first before suddenly the machine twitches and starts to pull itself back together and repair itself. as the song nears it's end the magearna regard's her lifelessly as if she was not there and goes back to work moving about on it's routine.
